# WordPress Gallery Shortcode – It adds

 * I would like the native wordpress gallery to be inserted on my page at the top
   of the content area.
 * Here is the URL of what I have done so far.

 * The problem I am having is that the gallery shortcode seems to be adding one 
   or two <p> tags affecting the spacing.
 * Like this
    <p> <!– see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php –></p> <div
   class=’gallery’>
 * How can I remove these? I have looked in the /media.php code but can’t find them?
 * Please help
