# WordPress ignoring template

 * Hi there,
 * I was hoping that someone might be able to clear up this query im having.
 * I have a page on one of my websites called **“resorts”** permalink reads, **mysite.
   com/resorts** and when i assign it to have it’s own template called **“resorts
   overview”** WordPress decided to ignore this and just show the index.php file
   instead.
 * But when i change the permalink to **mysite.com/our-resorts** it works fine and
   shows the proper template?? It’s the weirdest thing as it’s been working for 
   months until the past couple of days.
 * It’s not massive deal as i just have to go and change all my links but i was 
   just hoping someone would have some insight into whats happening?
