# WordPress image hover text

 * I want to add text on image hover in WordPress.
 * So I try add this code [https://www.w3schools.com/howto/tryit.asp?filename=tryhow_css_image_overlay_fade](https://www.w3schools.com/howto/tryit.asp?filename=tryhow_css_image_overlay_fade).
 * I can see image and below text “Hello World”, but hover not work.
 * Any solutions?

 * The text appears below image, that means the CSS didn’t get loaded. I suppose
   WP editor stripped out the `<style>` tag.
 * Try putting all the CSS in **Additional CSS** section

 * In post content, always switch to Text Mode (not Visual mode) when writing html.
