 * Greetings all,
 * I am attempting to import an export from another wordpress site and I am running
   into two particularly interesting issues.
 * Issue 1: When a post is imported, it is imported as the current user despite 
   the fact that I have selected an already existing user using the drop down menu.
 * Issue 2: All posts are imported as drafts, despite their published status.
 * Relevant technical information: The export is coming from a WPMU 2.9.2 installation
   and is being imported into at WP 3.0.1 multisite installation. All content and
   attachments are imported correctly except for the above mentioned.
 * Has anyone else run into this issue or know of a not to complicated workaround?
   I have to import 2 sites at roughly 3K posts per site by about 50 different authors.
