# WordPress installation (text only)

 * followed this link for install:
 * [https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-wordpress-on-centos-7](https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-wordpress-on-centos-7)
 * However when launching the browser to start the install I can only see text starting
   with:
 * > ME /** * The base configuration for WordPress * * The wp-config.php creation
   > script uses this file during the * installation. You don’t have to use the 
   > web site, you can * copy this file to “wp-config.php” and fill in the values.**
   > etc…
 *  uploading a phpinfo() file to the same directory where WordPress files are works
   fine so not sure why WordPress install is not being handled correctly by php.
 * Any ideas pls ?
