 * Hello,
 * Thank you for your brilliant security plugin, I use it on my 2 sites, but one
   chinese site encounter a WordPress network error problem, so I checked the diagnose
   log, and it shows:
 * [Scanner] ERROR: WordPress integrity data not found. Version: 5.0.3, locale:
   zh_TW
 * Then I tried to re-install wordpress through the update page and scanned again,
   the error still shows up.
 * Do you know how to solve this problem?
 * Thank you ~

 * Hi!
 * You get this error simply because there is no integrity data for WP 5.0.3 with
   the zh_TW locale on wordpress.org yet. Probably updating to WordPress 5.1 will
   solve this issue.

 * Hello,
 * I found it still didn’t work after I updating to 5.1, but when I switch the site
   language setting to “English” then the WordPress integrity can be verified. So
   this problem is solved.
 * One more question, I found the scan can go outside of the website folder to phpredis
   folder, like the absolute path: /tmp/phpredis-4.2.0/…. and shows some Suspicious
   code found.
 * Is this normal ? Thanks.

 * Cerber scans one level up only, just because on some web servers it’s possible
   to have infected files there. Having executable code there, other than wp-config.
   php, is not normal. A website has to reside in its own, separate folder that
   is not shared with other websites and parts of a web server. I would recommend
   deleting all suspicious files.

 * I had this problem yesterday with verifying WP files and WP-Cerber. WP 5.1, every
   plugin and theme up-to-date. Every zip file I offered to “resolve issue” failed,
   however, despite that, they were verified in subsequent quick scans. One by one,
   they verified, except for WP-Cerber and WP itself. Finally, I did a full scan,
   and this time, WP and WP-Cerber verified! WP files get that network error (apparently)
   until WP-Cerber is verified, or at least it appeared so in my adventures yesterday.
   Your mileage, of course, may vary.

 * [@suzyloonam](https://wordpress.org/support/users/suzyloonam/) Your problem clearly
   tells that there are some network issues on your web server, so the scanner is
   unable to load checksums from wordpress.org. Possibly the web server has a low
   bandwidth network connection. Ask your hosting provider for assistance or, if
   that happens again, I would recommend moving to a hosting provider with more
   powerful network uplink.

 * I just moved all my sites to a VPN in December. Maybe by next December, I will
   have recovered enough to think about moving again.
 * I raised the upload limit in wp-config, and then I scanned, over and over again,
   short and full scans, flipped back and forth from legacy to standard, ignored
   some flagged files and eventually, WP verified.
 * I guess it could be my server, but it was playing kind of arbitrarily with WP-
   Cerber settings that seems to have made it work.
 * Thanks for your reply, and for your plugin. I prefer it to all others.
