# WordPress language

 * Hi,
    My Word Press site is in English. However when customers contact me via “
   Contact Us” page or place order with Woo Commerce they can insert characters 
   that are not in English. For example: Hebrew, Arabic, Turkish, Korean.
 * I have no way to understand these letters.
 * How do I force WordPress to allow only English recognized letters?
    All settings
   I found are for display.. in what language the site will appear I didn’t find
   any setting that force language for input.

    WooCommerce team claim that this is a Word Press setting. [https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/17999](https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/17999)
 * They say they rely on WordPress tables so the settings are WordPress.
