# WordPress (Legacy) has been deprecated and cannot be used anymore.

 * I have a zap so when a new user register in a WordPress site I can add this user
   to a mailing list.  I received the below message from Zapier. 
 * WordPress (Legacy)
 * Trigger partner failure: WordPress (Legacy) has been deprecated and cannot be
   used anymore.
 * I went ahead and created a new zap, making sure I enter the correct information,

 * I have made sure WordPress is in the latest version, and also the Zapier plugin
   is to the latest version – but when I try to authenticate I get the below error.

 * I am making sure credentials are used correctly – I even reset the password making
   sure there’s no typo when logging in.

   which was working OK under WordPress Legacy [https://prnt.sc/1Pepw4bTADPQ](https://prnt.sc/1Pepw4bTADPQ)–
   I’ll appreciate any further input on this.
