# WordPress login issue

 * Hi,
    Starting yesterday i tried to loign ot my wordpress blog, i get to the login
   id and password enter those and all i get is a blank screen or HTTP 500 server
   error code and this it says;
 * > **The website cannot display the page
   >  HTTP 500 Most likely causes: •The website
   > is under maintenance. •The website has a programming error. What you can try:
   > Refresh the page. Go back to the previous page.
 * I know the password is correct as i asked for a new one
    I need help to fix this
   i can see my blog from a subscribers/readers perspective.

    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder
   in wp-content/themes using [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients) or whatever
   file management application your host provides.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by using [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients) or whatever file management
   application your host provides. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can 
   still cause problems.
 * – renaming or deleting the [.htaccess](http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks#Where.27s_my_.htaccess_file.3F)
   file after making a backup of this file by using [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients)
   or whatever file management application your host provides.
 * – check [file permissions](http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions).
   All directories should be 755 or 750. All files should be 644 or 640. Exception:
   wp-config.php should be 600 to prevent other users on the server from reading
   it.
 * – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a **fresh** download
   of WordPress by using [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients) or whatever
   file management application your host provides.

 * This is great Information thank you, but ????? where and how do i find what you
   are talking about to check and make changes, is it on my PC hidden somewhere 
   on the World Wide Wait?

 * Hi, please help me
    I have a problem yesterday i login my account on word press
   by mistake i change my url to other url and save change then automatically my
   account logout and still i cant login my account please help me i am in trouble.
