 * I am considering WordPress MU to handle multiple blogs I run (couple professional
   and a personal one).
 * Does MU get updated to the same code base as WordPress or does it “lag” behind?
 * Besides a couple plug-ins, is there any major limitations to WordPress MU compared
   to standard WordPress I would need to be concerned with?
 * Is either one faster than the other?

   you can’t get those answers here, but maybe you (also) want to ask your questions
