# WordPress Multisite Database Query

 * Hi,
 * I am new to WordPress. I want to start three blogs and so I am installing WordPress
   multisite. The installation guide says that all sites will use the same database.
   Is it okay to have one database for all the sites, or is it advisable to have
   separate databases for each site in the network? I mean what if something goes
   wrong? All three sites might go down together.
