# WordPress Multisite Issues

 * Hello,
 * I am trying to set up a multisite wordpress installation to serve the districts’
   separate scout groups and a rather odd thing keeps happening.
    For about an hour
   after I initialise the subdomain the separate sites will work fine but then they
   will just suddenly stop working and throw up a 404 error instead. [http://doverdistrictscouts.org.uk/](http://doverdistrictscouts.org.uk/)
   is the main site and I would like to create an extra subdomain (for the time 
   being) at [http://alpha.doverdistrictscouts.org.uk/](http://alpha.doverdistrictscouts.org.uk/).
