# WordPress on a PC

 * I would like to download the wordpress software and run it on my computer. I 
   will be running apache (webserver software) on my PC so that I can design my 
   wordpress blog (with themes, text, pictures etc) before I upload to my domain.
 * Do I need the CPanel in order to install wordpress and see it as a blog on my
   PC?
 * I hope I’ve explained myself clearly!
