 * I am running IIS6 on Windows Server 2003 and SQL Server 2005. I have PHP 5.2.6
   running with the SQLSRV 1.0 driver for PHP. My SQLServer database is on another
   machine than my web site. I continue to get the error message of “Error establishing
   a database connection”. The database is running, and the password is correct.
   I have successfully connected to the database using ODBC connections.
 * What else do I need to check/do?

 * That would be an unsupported install BUT I noticed those directions say you need
   IIS7 and you’ve tagged this post as IIS6.

 * I have been looking through those links but had not found anything that would
   solve my problem. I was hoping someone on this blog maybe had some experience
   with IIS6 and SQLServer 2005.

 * Alas, we’re mostly *nix/Apache and MySQL. I tagged this generic IIS and hopefully
   someone who’s clever that way will see this 🙁
