# wordpress or capcha problem?

 * I installed this plugin “AdsCaptcha” from [http://www.minteye.com/](http://www.minteye.com/)
   
   if you go to my website, [http://faxplus.ca/about-us/](http://faxplus.ca/about-us/)
   and go as your going to post a comment and the reg stuff comes up and fill it
   out, us the captcha and you will get this error Fatal error: Call to undefined
   function mb_detect_encoding() in /home/faxplus/public_html/wp-content/plugins/
   adscaptcha/adscaptcha.php on line 72″
 * I am not sure if its a wordpress reg problem or if its a captcha problem. please
   help.

 * That’s a problem with that plugin – you can delete the plugin from the site files
   on the server – by using FTP or Cpanel to access your site.
 * find it here:
 *     ```
       wp-content
           plugins
               adscaptcha - DELETE THIS FOLDER
       ```

 * it is a updated app, and I prefer to keep it if I can, I really like the idea
   of the slider capcha, as I hate capcha in the first place and this is a nice 
   replacement. did you try reg and see it in action? I am hoping to fix the problem
   vs just delete and move on.

 * well maybe not as updated as some but their webpage is pretty active and they
   seem to be a pretty good company.

 * there is some info there, but I don’t understand any of it, maybe this will work
   if I knew what I was doing, please have a look and let me know if you think this
   is fixable.

 * Make sure your server can establish a connection to minteye’s servers.
    Some 
   application servers define outbound firewall restriction which could cause connectivity
   faults.
