• Recently, notifications for posts in plugin support forums have become unreliable again. Case in point: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/whole-site-broken-after-update-display-problem/. I didn’t get a notification (neither via Slack nor from subscribing to the wp-Typography subforum). I’m pretty sure even the topic didn’t show up in the list until two weeks after it was posted.

Also, when replying a topic, sometimes the posts don’t show up, even with an explicit browser reload. It would appear that there is some wonky caching going on.

That sounds like some of your posts are being caught in the spam filter. And indeed they are, I’ve just checked the filter and I don’t think you did anything wrong.

@anevins Oh, thanks for the info. That’s weird. (On a side node, in the thread overview, the “latest reply from” is updated even if the posts don’t show up.)

Yea that is weird, I think it’s some sort of caching problem when posts are released form the spam filter

@anevins, but why would those two posts (or at least the first one, the second one might be “you are posting too fast” rule) be caught by the spam filter in the first place? Also, from a UX perspective, some kind of feedback like “your post has been held back for moderation” would be nice, to prevent double posts like mine.
