# WordPress.org Problem

 * Hello,
 * I was not able to find a direct contact link to this site itself (WordPress.org),
   so I will post my issue here:
 * I have just created a new account since I had forgotten the password to my initial
   account and a “new password” link was not sent to either of the two Emails I 
   use.
 * I tried creating an account with my old username ( heikoknoll ), but the system
   gave a “user already exists” error. Even now a request for a new password did
   not yield the result, there were no incoming mails from WordPress.org and none
   in the Spam folder either.
 * Is it possible to retrieve the old user account?
 * thank you and hopefully not bugging anyone with this question probpably being
   in the wrong section.

    If you have access to Cpanel of your website you can change your password
