 * Has anyone seen the message “Due to site rules, a strong password is required
   for your account. please choose a new password that rates as strong on the meter”?
 * I updated WordPress on a site yesterday and it is the first login since so it
   is hopefully genuine (and a good idea). I just want to check as we found another
   site on the same server hacked yesterday.

    Please follow the follwing
   instruction to protect your site from being hack.
 * Remain calm and carefully follow [this guide](https://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_My_site_was_hacked).
   When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of [the recommended security measures](https://codex.wordpress.org/Hardening_WordPress).

 * It’s fine, I’ve sorted out the other hacked site I was referring to.
 * My question is that one another site, I updated WordPress yesterday and when 
   I went to log into the site this morning I got the message above. It is asking
   me to change the password there and then before accessing the dashboard.
 * I just want to check if anyone else has seen this to make sure it is not fraudulent
   bearing in mind another site on the same sever was hacked.
 * Have you seen this message and change request after updating WordPress recently?
