# WordPress Plugin (API Problem)

 * **ConvertKit – WordPress Plugin**
 * I hope someone can help me here. I’ve searched trying to get answers but got 
   nowhere.
 * I have added the latest Convertkit plugin v1.4.6 into out WordPress setup and
   entered the correct API Key and API Secret details from the Account Info page.
 * The WordPress settings page shows : “Error connecting to API.” Please verify 
   your site can connect to [https://api.convertkit.com](https://api.convertkit.com)
 * When I go to the API URL using the API key on my computer : [https://api.convertkit.com/v3/forms?api_key=####_######_######](https://api.convertkit.com/v3/forms?api_key=####_######_######)
   
   It appears to pull the form information correctly.
 * But how do I confirm/test this via our servers?
    Is there something I’ve missed
   here?

 * Please check with your host to see if they are blocking outbound connections 
   to api.convertkit.com.
