# wordpress problem

 * I have wordpress with Thesis theme
    I keep getting messages such as
 * Notice: An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org
   or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try 
   the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to WordPress.
   org. Please contact your server administrator.) in /home/www/costaalmeriabowling.
   com/wp-includes/update.php on line 295

 * I have just installed a new theme and got the above message
 * Can someone help please

    /home/
   www/costaalmeriabowling.com/wp-includes/update.php:295 page write- **<?php ob_start();?
   > on the top of the page and check if you still get the error.

   do not ever ever ever E**VER suggest anyone modify a WordPress core file**_. 
   Honestly, please do not do that again. It’s really bad advice.

   your theme customization so try these steps. If you have the Thesis theme backed
   up off of your server (that’s important):
    1. Using [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients) or whatever file management
       tools your host has provided you with navigate to the `wp-content/themes` directory.
    2. Once there locate and delete the `thesis` directory. Just that one directory
       and nothing else.
    3. Try and re-login to your WordPress dashboard [http://costaalmeriabowling.com/wp-admin/themes.php](http://costaalmeriabowling.com/wp-admin/themes.php)
 * If it works then you’ll get a message about the theme missing (make sure you 
   have a backup first) and you should be able to get in after that.
 * Then you can re-try your steps and see where the error came from.
    ** Edit: This
   is to address the “Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already
   sent” portion of your problem.

    I have three wordpress websites and I get warnings
   on all of them
 * do you think it could be a plugin causing the problem
 * what you have asked me to do is far to advanced for me ,Im sorry

 * I use Thesis a lot, I think it could be a) a plugin conflict or b) your server
   configuration. Thesis is a pretty unique beast and thus it requires certain permissions.
   The only time I have ran into the above is when b) is the case.
 * Have you submitted a support request to DIYThemes to check? and sent them your
   error log?
