# WordPress Problems a javascript error?

 * Hi,
 * My blog (WP 2.8.6) has some problems:
 * The WYSIWYG editor isn’t loaded properly, you can find a screenshot of what i
   get:

 * Also, when I try to install a new plugin, the description page isn’t loaded in
   th eusual overlay but go behind at the end of the page (screenshot below)

 * I’ve disabled all installed plugin but the problem is the same,, I reinstalled
   WP and the problem is stil the same, Have you any idea of what can I do?

 * You could try upgrading to 2.9.1 and see if that solves the problem. Other troubleshooting
   steps would include:
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or phpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.
 * – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a **fresh** download
   of WordPress.
