# WordPress Reader and Temporary URL

 * I hope this is the right place, but I was recently contacted that my blog is 
   no longer searchable on WordPress Reader. I tested it out myself and saw that
   it’s trying to redirect to my temporary URL, something I haven’t had for over
   a year. I contacted my host and they said everything looks good on their end.
 * Is there any way to update the temporary URL to the permanent one? This seems
   to have been a recent change.

 * That said, I didn’t understand what you meant by redirecting to a temporary URL.

 * Hi Bob,
 * I am curious about the first bit you mentioned because I have friends who are
   on the free version of JetPack as well, but their posts are visible on WordPress
   Reader. These are all self-hosted accounts.
 * I have a screenshot of the temporary domain but I don’t think I can share it 
   here. I tried to follow my own blog a few days ago and got an pop up error that“
   Sorry, there was a problem following “[http://box.5073.temp.domains/~dulivreb/feed](http://box.5073.temp.domains/~dulivreb/feed).
   Please try again.” I thought it was a domain issue, but I updated my permanent
   URL (dulivreblog.com) within days of being self-hosted.

   Reader was not showing the posts from your site.
