 * Just wondering if this is happening to everyone intentionally, or just me.
    All
the screenshots on wordpress.org want me to download them. If this is intentional,
it’s REALLY annoying, make it stop. If not WHY is it doing that. Thought it was
a plugin but it does it regardless. does it have to do with this [http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9097781/chrome-downloads-png-image-links-i-want-them-to-open-for-viewing-in-a-new-tab](http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9097781/chrome-downloads-png-image-links-i-want-them-to-open-for-viewing-in-a-new-tab)

and if so a fix please

 * Actually on the WordPress.org website? If so then this is an issue when plugin/
theme authors don’t upload images with the correct mime type. It might be better
to inform those plugin/ theme authors of this issue.

 * Yes, maybe one or two but this happens on ALMOST all the plugins. do all these
authors upload the wrong image mime type?
    Shouldn’t wordpress.org check this
somehow or make it a requirement when uploading. frustrating … there’s so many
   of them.

 * Yes, because the default settings on most SVN clients is incorrect. It’s annoying,
but there isn’t much we can do about it at present. We’re working on other options.
 * Plugin authors *can* fix this themselves if you tell them about it. Point them
   here:
