# WordPress Security issue.

 * Hello.
 * I have got a comment from one of my users telling me that they were able to get
   admin level access easily and I am wondering if this is a SQl injection or something
   else. I have changed my admin password to a long complex password and I am wanting
   some tips of securing my installation. I am running on Linux and can use chmod
   to change permissions, I am just worried about my site being hacked.
 * I am using a customised index.php using code from the P2 theme.
 * Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

 * WP 3.0.1 doesn’t have any known security holes, so more than likely they’re either
   harassing you or they hacked your password. Either way, you may want to implement
   some (if not all) of [the recommended security measures](http://codex.wordpress.org/Hardening_WordPress)
   to put your mind at ease.
 * Also, check the Users section of your admin panel to make sure that you don’t
   have any new administrators that you don’t know about. If they did gain access
   via your account, they may have left themselves an open door by creating another
   administrator.
