# WordPress Site Content

 * Hi,
    I am working on a website where I’d like to import demo content from a theme.
   My aim is to add theme demo content to an existing website that has content. 
   I was advised that the demo content import may overwrite existing content which
   isn’t what I want.
 * As this is the case, I have a possible solution to my issue:
 * Export website to XML file
    Import theme’s demo content
 * If theme demo content overwrites existing content:
 * Import XML file
 * My question is whether the import of the XML file will overwrite or append the
   theme’s demo content.
 * Any help or advice would be appreciated.
