# WordPress site refusing updates

 * Just been notified by an editor of our site that it is no longer accepting updates.
   
   Disabling antispam bee removes the issue – and I see it has been updated recently.
   We are using Kadence (free)Looks like it might be a conflict with the recently
   updated RealCookie Banner

 * I was at WordCamp Europe, so I had no time to look at it. Does it happen with
   the free version of Real Cookie Banner or with the paid product?
 * I can try to reproduce it with the free version. But if it only happens with 
   the paid version, you need to ask their support.

 * I did reply, but it seems to to have been saved.
 * We are using the free version of Real Cookie Banner.
 * Disabling it or your Antispam Bee bypasses the problem.
 * That’s how we’ve left things ( with Real Cookie Banner disabled).

 * I just tried to reproduce the issue. WordPress 6.5.5, Kadence (free) active and
   Real Cookie Banner (free) and ASB active. No issue. Plugin updates are shown 
   and working.
 * What do you mean *exactly* if you write “is no longer accepting updates”? No 
   plugin updates shown? Or error while trying to update? If yes, which error message?
 * Are you using the latest version of everything? Sometimes an old WP version or
   an old PHP version could prevent using the latest version available.
 * Or there is another bug which is preventing the correct execution of everything
   afterward. Could you please check your error logs:

 * Maybe there is an error. You could also check the browser console for errors 
   and the network tab for issues.

 * Thanks Torsten.
   We were on WordPress 6.5.4 so I updated to 6.5.5, reActivated
   Real Cookie Banner and the problem has gone away!!When it wasn’t working we didn’t
   get any error messages to the screen – it just wouldn’t save changes to Pages.
   All the Plugins we use were on their latest versions.I will try (in a day or 
   so as bit busy…) to see if I can track down any error logs.Thanks you for your
