# WordPress Stats and API Key

 * I have taken over the management of my church’s website. The previous person 
   who did the site used their API for wordpress stats and removed the key before
   I took it over.
 * I am trying to use MY API for the site now, and it doesn’t work. I get the error:
 * Error from last API Key attempt:
 * The owner of that API Key (XXXXXXXXXX) is not on the access list for this blog(
   XXXXXXX). To be added to the access list, you must contact support.
 * Can you please help me somehow get access to WordPress Stats? It would be very
   helpful. I am already using MY API key for Askimet.
 * Because I DO NOT know the previous person’s API key, nor do I have their password,
   none of the solutions in the database have worked.
