# wordpress symlink plugin error

 * I’m using WordPress 4.3.1.
 * As far as I know, until WordPress 3.9 the Symbolic links were broken; __ FILE
   __ global variable was returning the wrong path, therefore, functions such as
   plugin_url() were returning the wrong URL.
 * Then, it was fixed in WP 3.9, but seemingly, it is still broken on my end.
 * Any thoughts why?
