# WordPress Theme Question

 * I replaced the Header.png in my theme with a logo image. The generic title and
   description show over the new logo so I deleted the title and description from
   the general settings in my wordpress admin. If I remove the title and description
   will that affect my search rank? Is there a work around?

 * I suggest leaving the title and description in place in the WP settings, as that
   is how WP identifies the site name on the admin pages and in other places.
 * You can gain the SEO advantages of displaying them and not see them in the visual
   display of the site by assigning them CSS of either
    text-indent: -9999px or 
   position: absolute; top: -100px
 * Either displays them offscreen, yet Google still sees them.

 * Sweet, that worked great! It also displays my site name now rather than the url
   in the top browser bar which also verifies that it’s seen now. Thanks again.
 * I will leave this open a couple more days to see if any more input.
