# WordPress time is screwed up???

 * No it isn’t! I live in Singapore (GMT+8) and the time is 12:56pm! Not 5:53!

 * When logged in, go to “Settings -> General” and make sure you have the correct
   offset in the Timezone field.

 * You can set the timing to your desired settings from wordpress admin ares -> 
   settings -> general settings -> Timezone area.

 * Yup I set it to UTC+8 which is my time zone, and it says “UTC +8 is 2009-05-18
   6:01:37 ” which is incorrect!

   but mine is wrong. Mine says:

 * There’s certainly no guarantee that your web host has their servers set to your
   timezone 🙂 Just adjust the offset until you get the time that you want.

 * Okay I contacted my hosting provider already. Anyway if they corrected the problem
   already, will the time of my posts change? I have the loop set to show the time
   of posting 🙂
