# WordPress Twitter native embed down?

 * It seems that the Twitter native embed that allows to show tweets simply copy-
   pasting the tweet URL is currently down.
 * Anyone of you faces the same issue?

 * The Twitter API requires https since yesterday:

 * Haven’t had time to digg into it, but I think requesting the embed code results
   in a 403 due to these changes.

 * We’re talking about native WP functionality here, right, so who’s likely to be
   the one fixing this?

 * When you talk about using https, you mean using Twitter URLs with https, or something
   else ? Because I am doing it though it doesn’t work either.
