# WordPress update and jQuery problems …

 * I upgraded to the latest version of WordPress and now I am the getting console
   errors such as the ones described below. I think all the errors are related to
   the first one – jQuery is not defined.
 * My site is up, but most admin functions don’t work. Such as being unable to add
   media to posts or the Joost SEO admin keywords interface on posts as well.
 * I’m not sure what broke or how to fix it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    - Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined load-scripts.php?
    - Uncaught ReferenceError: wp is not defined gallery-settings.js:5
    - Uncaught ReferenceError: _ is not defined load-scripts.php
    - Uncaught ReferenceError: Backbone is not defined notes-common-v2.js
    - Uncaught ReferenceError: _ is not defined admin-bar-v2.js
    - Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method ‘sortable’ load-scripts.
