# WordPress Update E-Mail Spam

 * Hello all,
 * Since a few days I have started getting a lot of spam about updates for plugins
   and about the new wordpress update (Version 4.3.1) while I host multiple site’s
   for clients (20 – 30) several site’s that said they had an update mailed me the
   same message over and over (20+ times per site)
 * I do not have any particular plugins on my site’s that deal with emails. Exception
   being wordfence. My question is, is wordpress sending these mails over and over
   or is something else wrong?
 * This is the mail I received several times it is in dutch, roughly translated 
   it says that it has been updated to 4.2.5 and that a newer version is available,
   I got this mail around 20 times for this site alone.
 *     ```
       Hallo! Je site op http://example.nl is automatisch bijgewerkt naar WordPress 4.2.5.
   
       Om meer te leren over versie 4.2.5, kijk je op het Over WordPress scherm:
       http://example.nl/wp-admin/about.php
