 * I am having various issues with my blog and therefore I’m not able to do anything
   right now. Issues include:
 * 1. Not being able to edit posts.
    2. Not being able to write new posts. 3. Tool
bar is missing. 4. Can’t switch between text and visual. 5. Add media button
   doesn’t work. 6. Can’t view text.
 * Activating a new theme brings the same results
 * _[moderator note – removed the modlook tag, please do not use the tag unless
a post is breaking the site rules]_

 * Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one
individually until you find the cause.
 * If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Sixteen theme
to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
 * If neither of those make any difference, try [downloading WordPress](https://wordpress.org/download/)
again, access your server via [SFTP or FTP](https://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients),
or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, and delete then replace
your copies of everything on the server **except** the wp-config.php file and
the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies from the download. This will effectively
replace all of your core files without damaging your content and settings.
 * Some uploaders tend to be unreliable when overwriting files, so don’t forget
to delete the original files before replacing them.
