    Could anybody help me make – or direct me to something that allows you to
   list users of a certain roll – like in a post/page with the following type syntax?
 * [displayUsers:Subscribers]
 * If there isn’t such a thing, then could someone link me to the wordpress plugin
   help that includes – reading from the database and using that type of syntax 
   to call my plugins?

 * Well I have one that is currently only intended for “logged in” use ( ie a a 
   registered user) – it allows one to define the type of list one wants (done by
   admin) and then the other users can view the defined lists.
 * It shouldn’t be that hard to make it a shortcode type plugin – I might have a
   go if there is nothing else like it around. If you think it may b e useful have
   a look at it. It was recently subkitted to the weblogtools competition:
