 * I am having a problem with my wordpress widgets. When I drag a widget over into
   the main widget column, it expands for a brief moment but then auto-closes so
   I can’t edit anything about the widget.
 * This is happening for all widgets types within my install.
 * Has anyone had this problem before? And if so, how did you fix it?

 * Have you tried:
    – deactivating all plugins (yes, all) to see if this resolves
   the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find
   the problematic plugin(s). If you can’t get into your admin dashboard, try resetting
   the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin
   can still cause problems. – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out
   any theme-specific problems.

 * This is broken too on my installation of version 3.4.1. My workaround is to save
   the empty widget, then the data entry fields for the widget will re-appear and
   work normally after that.
 * And yes, I did reset (and upgrade) all my plugins and deleted the obsolete ones
   from my server. That did not help. However, switching to the default twenty-eleven
   theme **DID** make the widget admin behave again, but that is not a viable options
   since I’m committed to my woo-theme.
 * I will have to contact woo to see it they are aware of any widget admin issues.

 * I’m not able to reproduce that collapsing behavior anymore. I was happy with
   my workaround but recently updated my:
 *     ```
       wordpress to 3.4.2
       woothemes-canvas to  5.0.8
       woo-framework to 5.4.1
       ```
 * Which are the latest at this time (Oct 17, 2012)
 * The fact that it went away when I activated the plain vanilla twenty-eleven theme
   definitely points at some negative synergy in the javascript/css realm (which
   drives that collapsing behavior). So that’s not quite as bad as “unravelling
   the very fabric of the space-time continuum”, but definitely annoying.
 * I have also experienced this issue, immediately after installing the WP Bannerize
   plugin (my own fault really – it did state it was untested on my version of WP–
   3.4.2). Not able to switch themes, but Ron’s workaround is fine
 * This is definitely a thing. I am experiencing it on a few different sites using
   different themes.
 * I drag the widget, it automatically closes, I hit the save button and it opens
   again and I can edit like usual. :-/
