 * From version 3.18 pages created with Elementor cause styling errors to default
   WordPress widgets in widget areas like header and footer on that pages. Widgets
   affected include search and social icons widgets.

 * Hi. Thanks for reaching out.
 * The issues you’re describing are likely due to a plugin or theme conflict.
 * In order to troubleshoot, please try the following steps and let us know if it
   solves your issue:
    - Deactivate all of your plugins except Elementor. If this solves the problem,
      gradually activate your plugins one by one, until you spot the problematic
      plugin.
    - Switch your WordPress theme to WordPress TwentySixteen (or other default WordPress
      theme) temporarily – and see if it solves your error.

 * Hi
 * It doesn’t solve the issue. Problem exists in default WordPress theme as well.
   For example, problem with Social icons widget added in footer widget area is
   that it doesn’t have color on pages with Elementor, while the same widget in
   pages without Elementor has color.
 * Please check this.

 * This is the page where Elementor is used. Please see social icons and search
   widget at bottom of page: [https://rayoflightthemes.com/wordpress-themes/printex-wordpress-theme/](https://rayoflightthemes.com/wordpress-themes/printex-wordpress-theme/)
 * This is page where there is no Elementor used. Social icons have color, search
   is not broken: [https://rayoflightthemes.com/wordpress-themes/printex-wordpress-theme/shop/](https://rayoflightthemes.com/wordpress-themes/printex-wordpress-theme/shop/)

 * Seems that “Optimized Gutenber Loading” was inactive by default in versions before
   3.18 and in newest versions it is active by default and that breaks styling for
   default WordPress widgets.
 * I don’t think this should be active by default.
