 * Hey Camu,
 * I have been noticing a lot of failed HTTP calls to [http://wordpress.cloudapp.net](http://wordpress.cloudapp.net).
   Here is an example of it:
 * [http://wordpress.cloudapp.net/api/update/?&url=http%3A%2F%2Fben.lobaugh.net%2Fblog%2F49034%2Fturn-email-smtp-back-on-in-os-x-mountain-lion%2Fcomment-page-1&agent=Mozilla%2F5.0+%28Windows+NT+6.1%3B+WOW64%29+AppleWebKit%2F535.19+%28KHTML%2C+like+Gecko%29+Chrome%2F18.0.1025.1634+Safari%2F535.19+YE&v=11&ip=218.72.139.97&p=9](http://wordpress.cloudapp.net/api/update/?&url=http%3A%2F%2Fben.lobaugh.net%2Fblog%2F49034%2Fturn-email-smtp-back-on-in-os-x-mountain-lion%2Fcomment-page-1&agent=Mozilla%2F5.0+%28Windows+NT+6.1%3B+WOW64%29+AppleWebKit%2F535.19+%28KHTML%2C+like+Gecko%29+Chrome%2F18.0.1025.1634+Safari%2F535.19+YE&v=11&ip=218.72.139.97&p=9)
 * Looks like that service is having a 503 error.
 * What is this supposed to be doing? Plugins are not supposed to call home without
   asking the user first. I am not particularly a fan of plugins making external
   connections without warning me.

 * Hi Ben,
 * This feature had been highlighted in the changelog a while ago. You can disable
   it in the options by setting Enable ADN to No. I see your point, though, and
   I will work on it.
 * Best
    Camu

 * Looks like they have an outage again. And we have extra milliseconds due to that
   error

 * Please set it to NO in the options ( Settings > Advanced, enable UAN ). Sorry
   for the inconvenience, we’re looking into this.
