    If I get a WordPress.com account, will the WordPress software be at a separate website? What is the difference between having an account with WordPress.com and downloading WordPress software from ww.wp.xz.cn?

    wordpress.com offer a hosted WordPress site with some limitations. If you download WordPress, you will need to set up your own hosting & domain name. You will also have to install WordPress yourself. On a positive note, the latter option does offer the greatest flexibility but it will mean a far greater learning curve.
