 * Hi
 * I am trying to import my wordpress.com blog to a new domain that works with wordpress.
   org.
 * I am using the wpxmlmigrate plugin to do an xml import but I am getting an error
   message saying. “File cannot be moved to.” The same problem occurs with Rss import.
 * What am I doing wrong?

 * Yes, that’s permissions. Typically, ensuring that wp-content/uploads is writable(
   755 or *shudder* 777) will fix that.
 * However, I dimmly recall there being a host configuration that might cause the
   same issue. Might try searching here on the phrase “The uploaded file could not
   be moved to” and see what you find (we have search boxes all over the place).

 * Handy
    I fix the permition at wp-content/uploads. I had to create this directory
   because it´s not default, right? But I still receiving that message.
 * I alredy set the main directory to 777, the blog directorym the content directory
   and the uploads directory.
 * What you mean about it?
 * Please give me a hand…
 * thks

 * Are you in “Safe Mode”? (see [this reply](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/59986?replies=27#post-437449))
