# wordpress.com posts in wordpress.org (only the posts)

 * I have a wordpress.com with an old url. I also have a wordpress.org with a new
   url.
 * I followed the steps here:
 * `http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-properly-move-your-blog-from-wordpress-
   com-to-wordpress-org/`
 * and it transferred all the media (pictures, et al) but it didn’t transfer any
   of the actual posts.
 * Would anyone help me actually transfer the posts into my wordpress.org site? 
   The site is up and running (has been for several years) so its not a mirror copy
   of of the old site. I just want to merge the old posts into my new site.
