# WordPress.com stats – future features?

 * Is there anything formal regarding the future development of the WordPress.com
   stats plugin? Out of all the plugins I have tried this seems to be the fastest
   and easiest to setup/use.
 * I can imagine that others have already thought this but currently although it
   shows posts and pages, you can’t see category/archive pages results even though
   it counts towards the total views. Another site view missing would be the homepage
   itself.
 * Plus, although you can see the total views on the site and drill down quite well,
   it’d also be useful to know the number of visitors since that’s what most stat
   programs and websites are moving towards counting.
