 * In the wordpress.com dashboard, how do we remove a blog from the list of stats
   sites?
 * When I ask wordpress.com, they tell me the site is not hosted there, so they
   won’t help.
 * Very poor support in my opinion.
 * They do not provide a way to manage the list, and they rudely refuse to help
   anyone who has a problem with it.

 * It can be done by contacting us via [http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/](http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/)
 * Just be very clear that you want to remove a WordPress.org site from your WordPress.
   com profile.
 * If they respond with the same thing, just say “James said I could.”
 * Sorry about your earlier experience!

 * I have WordPress.com Stats plugin in my self-hosted blog ([http://xicowner.jefmart.com/](http://xicowner.jefmart.com/))
   using WP Version 2.9.1 I can no longer upgrade my WP version because my blog
   theme will no longer be compatible with it.
 * Yesterday, when I upgraded the plugin, the Jetpack banner that says “Future upgrades
   to WordPress.com Stats will only be available in Jetpack. Jetpack connects your
   blog to the WordPress.com cloud, enabling awesome features.” blocks my Manage
   Plugins dashboard. I am decided to uninstall WordPress.com Stats plugin but cannot
   do so anymore.
 * Please help. The phenomenon is already causing problem because I can no longer
   upgrade any of my plugins.

 * [@edzee](https://wordpress.org/support/users/edzee/): If you can, download the
   latest WordPress.com Stats plugin. Then upload it via FTP to your plugins directory.
   This should resolve the issue. Sorry for the inconvenience.
 * Thanks,
 * Tim

 * Thank you very much, Tim. I will take note of your advice and may try it later.
   At the moment, I am testing StatCounter and Google Analyticator for my blog statistics
   and GA Popular Posts and nRelate plugins in place of WordPress.com Stats and
   its Popular Posts plugin respectively.
 * I really wonder why WordPress.com and WordPress.org would decide to force us
   to upgrade to Jetpack without considering the users who are in similar situations
   to mine. Can’t you not just rollback the version of WordPress.com Stats so we
   can still use it?

 * WordPress.com Stats is still useable in the latest version. There was, unfortunately,
   an error (which has been fixed) that caused problems for folks still running
   pre-WordPress 3.0 installations.
 * The upgrade notice is there to raise awareness that future upgrades will be made
   to the Stats module in Jetpack only. The notice is not designed to force an upgrade
   and is not intended to interfere with the use of the plugin.

 * My Site Stats at WordPress.com Global Dashboard also stopped working yesterday
   when I encountered the error. That is why I am saying that WordPress.com was
   also shutdown simultaneously with the Jetpack announcement. I also see some blog
   posts that says their WordPress.com Stats stopped working.
 * By the way, I can now access my Manage Plugins dashboard after my son, a webhost
   administrator, manually removed the WordPress.com Stats plugin. With what’s happening,
   I am not inclined to put back the plugin yet though it worked pretty well for
   me in the past.
