# WordPress.com Stats not counting

 * I have a couple of blogs and also helped my wife installing a wordpress on her
   server.
    Since WordPress.com Stats is a good stat plugin I installed on her page
   as well, but it doesn’t seem to count the visitors at all. Not one single hit
   is counted and we know people been there. The plugin is activated and API-key
   has been set… but nothing is there.

 * Does the theme being used on the blog in question make use of the wp_footer()
   function? The stats plugin hooks into that function call and will only work if
   it exists in the theme.
