# WordPress.com Stats problem resolved

 * This may help some people having a problem logging on and viewing the WordPress.
   com Stats from within their admin dashboard.
 * After installing the plugin, I get the message:
 * > _Visit your Dashboard to see your blog stats. If you are asked to log in, use
   > your WordPress.com username and password_
 * When logging in, nothing happens. That is the login frame just reloads with the
   login box.
    I know the password is OK, because when I use an incorrect password,
   I get a message saying: wrong password. When I try logging in at [http://dashboard.wordpress.com](http://dashboard.wordpress.com),
   I have no problem.
 * This appears to be an issue when using Firefox. When using Internet Explorer,
   I did not have this problem
 * Finally, figured out a solution. It’s a cookie permission issue.
    If you have
   set the options in your browser to **not except third party cookies**, you cannot
   view the stats from within your own blog.
 * You can either:
    - Allow third party cookies (which you probably don’t want if you have this 
      set to disabled)
    - Firefox -> Tools -> Options -> Privacy (leave Accept third-party cookies unticked)-
      > Exceptions: In the _Address of website_ text field, add dashboard.wordpress.
      com, and click the Allow button.
