 * It appears WordPress.com is undertracking my visitors, or Statpress is overtracking
   them.
 * My humble blog at [http://www.hainsworth.com](http://www.hainsworth.com) is averaging
about 200 visitors a day, according to WordPress.com, but more like 500 if I
believe Statpress. Statpress figures don’t include spiders or feeds, either,
   just “visitors.”
 * Who’s right?

 * A section of the FAQ for WordPress.com says:
 * > Does it count my own hits?
   > It does not count the hits of logged in users.
 * Unfortunately if this is true, I believe this plugin would only be valuable if
you have a blog which doesn’t actually have users. Could this be the discrepancy?

 * I don’t have any users/subscribers. Only me. And Statpress also claims to not
track logged in users. Besides, even if it did: I’d have to check my site about
   300 times a day! <grin> I’m a big fan of [http://www.hainsworth.com](http://www.hainsworth.com)
but not THAT big a fan 🙂

 * How does statpress come up with these numbers? I cannot account for them through
any other means including google analytics, wordpress stats, or sitemeter.com.
Foe example, wordpress stats currently shows 54 page views, while at the same
time statpress shows more than 3,000! I don’t understand how it is doing this,
and I seriously question it accuracy! Are these “page views” or “hits from page
   content?”
