# WordPress.com Stats Won’t Load

 * I have a self-hosted blog, [http://shyspeak.net](http://shyspeak.net), and WordPress.
   com Stats recently quit working. Specifically, when attempting to log-in from
   the dashboard to WordPress.com to retrieve the graph and associated data, the
   log-in screen seems to refresh, displaying my previously input screenname and
   password. I receive no error messages. I upgraded from WP 2.5.1. to 2.6., but
   the problem remains. I have also deactivated the plug-in, uninstalled, reinstalled
   and reactivated, but the problem persists.
 * Any insight?

 * Make sure your theme must has a call to <?php wp_footer(); ?> at the very bottom
   right before the </body> tag.
 * I have this problem every time I upgrade my theme.

 * how would you edit the theme and add the “call to <?php wp_footer(); ?>” ???
