# WordPress.com theme to WordPress.org?

 * Hello. I’m new to WordPress, and therefore i’m having some issues.
 * I’ve seen some themes that I really like – Gema and Hive. But I can’t find them
   when I search under ‘themes’ on my adminpage.
 * What is the solution?
 * Also I dont get why there is no themes that cost money on .org?

 * I know. But I prefer the look that Gema and Hive has. Isn’t it possible to get
   those for my page? If not, do you know any theme that looks similar to those?

 * Not every theme that can be used in wordpress.com is freely available for self-
   hosted WordPress sites. Unfortunately, I have no idea what those two themes look
   like but if you use the [Themes Feature Filter](https://wordpress.org/themes/#),
   you might be able to narrow the list of free themes down to those that match 
   your chosen criteria.

 * Oh – there are some commercial (aka “paid for”) themes on wordpress.org. It’s
   just that people are usually asking for the free stuff. 🙂
 * You can find commercial themes at [https://wordpress.org/themes/commercial/](https://wordpress.org/themes/commercial/)
   but I don’t see Gema amongst them.
 * If you still want to look for a free theme, I’d suggest searching [https://wordpress.org/themes/](https://wordpress.org/themes/)
   for “minimal” and “minimalist”.

 * Bit late I know, but Gema and Hive themes seem to be available from [Pixelgrade’s site](https://pixelgrade.com/themes/).
