 * Hi all,
 * I am new to WordPress.org, but experienced in WordPress.com
 * Unpopularmedia.com is a registered domain with WordPress.com, and I have purchased
   a year of hosting with Siteground. I have installed WordPress through Siteground
   with an automated installer.
 * What are my next steps so that I can access my WordPress.org dashboard? I am
   quite lost on Siteground’s cPanel, and am redirected to WordPress.com whenever
   I try to access my WordPress.org dashboard/admin login.
 * Please help 🙂
 * Monty

 * I am looking to transfer the content to my Siteground host. AND I don’t want
   any WordPress.com affiliation on pages found at unpopularmedia.com (at the moment
   there are still WordPress.com ‘Follow buttons’ and the like on my pages).

 * Hi elvis,
 * I don’t understand, you go from or outside your host? No problem with that, use
   your “Export” button.

 * It will give you a pile of XML files or so. Then at your new host, use Import.

   These are in “Tools” section of your WordPress menu.
 * You will loose the appeareance still, i think, and need to reconfigure the theme
   you were using before.

 * But content is never lost. If you have quick questions i’m online for now for
   like 10 minutes.

 * Sometimes you might need to add the extension needed to export/import wordpress,
   just add the ones from Automattic.

 * Hi Digico,
 * The trouble I am having is that after having installed WordPress on my host,
   I do not know how to access my WordPress installation. I can find my File Manager
   on my host for example, but when I try to access unpopularmedia.com/wp-admin
   I am redirected to unpopularmedia.wordpress.com/wp-admin
 * How do I resolve this?
 * (In regards to importing data, thank you for the help but that appears relatively
   simple once I have access to my dashboard!)

 * I am trying to access my new dashboard through my browser… Am I supposed to access
   the dashboard internally from my host site?
