# wordpress.org nav bar

 * Hello forum,
    Q1. Could someone please tell me what the type [the name] of the
   nav bar is where the top items don’t open only the drop down menus do. Like the
   one used on this site:

 * Q2.
    Currently I have been trying to make this nav bar on my twenty eleven site
   for two weeks now – to no avail! Rather than fooling with the files anymore I
   have created a child theme. Does anyone know how to transform the twenty eleven
   nav bar into the one above? I would greatly appreciate any pointers 🙂 Best –
   kel

 * i think wordpress.org was not the right example. the nav bar i’m speaking about
   is one where the items on the bar do not move. and only can the visitor access
   pages from the drop down screen.
